Missing you

This is what I usually stumble across when I go to visit Suli at work. Him playing his Ukulele and singing a song. Then when he realizes I'm there he will sing to me, I love this I want him to sing to me everyday! I miss you Suli!

I'm sorry I forgot to post about your birthday, but I did text you and Suli called you. I am glad you understood at least half of what he said. I'm sorry you were throwing up on your birthday. but I'm glad you got super cute snowboarding pants. Mckayl you are awesome and funny, have super shiny long cute hair. A perfect smile, and oh my gosh i love your roller skank out fit. I am glad you can fight good, your laugh when you get really hyper, you are an awesome dancer and you need to bust moves more often, I love you and hope you had a super cool day and got feeling better

ADVENTURES

Who knew coming home could be so difficult! On the way to the airport my car decided to stop running. We were stuck in a ghetto town across the street from the Jehovah's Witness church. I was crying Because I thought I was going to miss my plane and mad because I had to use my whole pay check to get my car towed. MERRY CHRISTMAS KASEY. Bo was my hero because no one at my house was answering their phone because they were all at church, He went in search for them and found my dad! Thanks BO! I finally got to the airport and got home safely thank goodness the plane decided to run better than my car! Yesterday me and Riley were going shopping with the little money I had and the first time we got to the mall I realized I left my wallet at the house so we went back and then went shopping. We decided to go to another mall with Forever 21 in it. I guess we were both super excited or something and as we were getting out of the car Riley yells lock the car and get out! (since her car is so cool and has no automatic locks). As we are walking away from the newly locked car we both stop and realize one VERY important thing. IT WAS STILL RUNNING! Yes we are smart and go to college. So we sat outside in the cold and waited and waited for her roommate to rescue us. so we took some pics while we were waiting. The first one is showing my birth place hehe.

The Rain Came Down and the Floods Came Up!

At about two in the morning it started pouring it didn't stop until like 3 pm today! Houses got flooded, finals got cancelled, and we were all locked in the school because the roads were blocked off! So all of you who are jealous of me in Hawaii...don't be I am in my room reading and doing laundry. And I'm not playing in the water because it is contaminated with the sewer..yum

It has been raining for a week! My cute little duck umbrella broke last Friday when all this madness began...and I still have not gotten a replacement. So basically I am cooped up in my room wishing I was home so I could wrap up in some blankets and read. Hopefully it stops raining so I can have some beach time before I come home!

Novembers News

Well November has just flown by so fast. So much has been going on with class and other activities. Songfest was on Friday the 14. I was so scared our whole gym was pretty much packed and I was standing in the second row thanks to some girls pushing me back there! I was mad because I practiced to hard on our stomp and I had it perfect and the other girls messed it up! But other than that it was fun and we got some Tongan food after! The next day I had to take the PRAXIS test! I was so stressed and I couldn't sleep at all that night. But now its over and I find out the results in 4 weeks! Mckayl sent me words of wisdom: {you don't learn how to love its just automatic.} thanks Mckyal you really inspired me. Riley being the awesome sister sent me an awesome birthday present see pic two...my Dunder Mifflin hat!!!! yeah we were being really weird in that pic..late night McDonald's runs are so much fun. I am working on 3 papers and that means its the end of the semester and I cant wait for that. I get done with finals and I will have a week to play before I come home to the wonderful cold weather. Next picture is me and Michelle at our ward conference lunch. We were hungry! that week we had tons of activities leading up to ward conference, we did a service project for the Methodist church and we had a ward talent show. My goal before coming home is getting a tan, I am in desperate need of one.

I just want to say thanks for all the phone calls, texts, blogs, and emails I got today! you guys really made my day! It is my 3rd birthday away from home and it gets kinda lonely on your birthday but my awesome mom sent me the coolest presents, I got a little party in a box. She sent me everything to have my own party {hats, candles, cupcakes, the blow things, and balloons}
I also got a super duper cute dress and shoes! After I opened that Suli called me and said he wanted to see me before he went to class. Well little did I know he was only distracting me from what him and Michelle were planning all week! They decorated my room and gave me candy and a card signed from everyone I know. So when I came back into my room I just screamed! Then Michelle came with the chocolate haupia pie from teds bakery, and that's what we ate for breakfast/lunch. We also popped open a bottle of bubbly hehe {apple cider} we played with all the presents I got and then layed on the floor sick from all the junk we ate. Then I checked my email and saw a I got this one from a teacher here on campus, but I wasn't even in her class. {Sis Frampton} emailed me and said that my mom reads her blog sometimes and she wanted to make me some cupcakes for my birthday and take pics to surprise my mom on her blog! She is the sweetest person ever! When she came I almost started to cry because that was so thoughtful and nice for her to do that for me! So all in all being {21} isn't as bad as I thought it would be! So ttfn I'm off to Cheesecake Factory for another round of Food

It's official!!!

It's official, yes indeed......Kasey Damn is OLD!! This is your mother, and I am so proud of myself for figuring out how to bust on this thing and post a HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISH TO YOU!! For family home evening last night our activity was to run around campus and take pictures at certain places. our group was the biggest and so much fun. we were all laughing and just having fun. My ward out here is so much fun and everyone gets along so well!

Kate-I am so glad to call you my friend. You are so talented in everything you do im jealous! I wish I was there to give you a bosom hug!

Kendra-You are a crazy woman I miss you everytime I see someone climbing up something or doing flips, I always think how you could do much better. You are such a cute mom!

Do you guys remember in 7th grade when we were walking at lunch, and Mr. Platt came and told kate she was growing? I hope you guys have great birthdays!

To start off my weekend was rainy and cold. Friday night the Tongans wanted to go fishing so we left the school around 10 pm. The way they fish is so scary! they get this huge net and go out into the ocean with it and spread it out and scare the fish into the net! It was dark rainy and creepy to see them all out in the water, I was positive someone was going to die. So me and Michelle just kicked it on the beach. After they went out a couple times they had about 10 big fish, so we left and went and cooked it, we didn't get home till 6 am! The next day was really rainy so we just caught up on sleep. Sunday our friend had their baby blessing so we went to it and then hung out all day at their house eating and holding the baby, I finally got a nice steak here! I was looking at dresses online and I really like the one I found at old navy! OK now for the story of the week. this morning about 7 am I got up to wake Michelle up like I do everyday. except I heard this buzzing noise by my head...Well my bed is right under the window and good thing the curtain was down cuz all I saw was the biggest shadow of a bee I have ever seen. I jumped out of bed so fast! This bee was like no ordinary bee, it was one of those huge black ones they have here, they chase people! {different story} So Michelle grabbed the bug spray and I pulled back the curtain and we sprayed it till it died! Then we decided to clean our rooms really good cuz we kinda tore it apart trying to get away from the bee! Ok I guess that's not a very exciting story but it was when it was happening!

Random thoughts

{1.} I was sitting in class today and I started thinking how irrelevant this class was to anything I am going to do as a PE teacher or a coach and wondering why it was part of my major classes. No one can stand the class and the test are way to difficult for such a useless class. Then I thought that I guess it can be useful to my life because we all have to do things we don't want to in life and its just best to suck it up and do it. a character builder...right mom.

{2.} I want to wear only dresses and skirts. But the tom boy in me does not want this because I don't want to miss out on all the "fun" stuff I cant do in a dress or skirt. I know dumb, but I thought of a compromise, just wear spandex shorts under so the graceful me can run, jump, and even fall and not be embarrassed.

{3.}I miss the fall weather, yes I love the fall/winter season, its just my time. as Caleb once told me..."Kasey you are a winter girl" I have firmly believed and lived up to these words.

{4.} I miss Snowflake friends, you guys just get me.

Boy oh boy, song pratice is the highlight of my week. Tonight they decided to move it up a notch and add some excitement to our performance. they decided to have each team stomp, and each teams just flows on to the one before. Of course im on the last team that goes and OF COURSE it has to be the HARDEST one to learn! I am so glad that even though they all laugh at the white kids trying to have some rhythm they still love me! BUT eventually I got the moves and we are good to go!

Go big GREEN

Well it is kind of a big deal at BYUH. All the clubs have songfest. So of course I am in the Tongan Club and we started practices last week. It is alot of fun because the Tongan Club is one of the biggest on campus and one of the best in songfest. I am sorta learning the words hopefully I can remember them by the time it comes around. The club is divided into four groups the red, blue yellow and green team. Bet you cant guess what team I'm on! Somehow we are going to like stand during our parts or dance or something so it will look really cool. I will try to get a video of it when we sing! Thats about all I have been up to since it has been raining everyday!

catching up

{Saturday} another picture perfect day in paradise! Me and Suli had the day off so we started off the day by playing volleyball outside with the boys, then we decided to go to the beach to cool off. We brought boogie boards and a football. the waves were pretty good to go boogie boarding on and Suli was having fun wiping out and "catching" waves. Later that night was BYUH idol, it was pretty good and since there isnt much to do in little Laie at night everyone went. Nlow it is Monday and back to the reality of school and homework.

{Thursday} It was a beautiful beach day on Thursday. I wanted nothing more but to go and lay out and swim and enjoy the nice weather. It was my lucky day! my last class got cancelled so I ran to my room and grabbed my huge beach towel, ipod, and tanning oil and I was out. It was perfect no one was at the beach and I just relaxed and enjoyed my free time. After the beach I decided to go get an acai bowl, my favorite treat and I hadnt had one in months and it was so good a great way to top off a great day.

Well it has been awhile since I have posted anything! I have been very busy with school and work and having fun of course. these pics were from when I went to wiamea bay with Parker, Isi and Suli. We had fun jumping off the rock and just relaxing before school started. Parker and Isi were both scared to jump off the rock but I teased them enough they finally did it. And Sulis feet got so dirty from his flip flops it was so gross but he thought it was the coolest thing ever and I had to take like five pics of his feet.

Riley~I just want to wish you a Happy Birthday and tell you how much I love you! I know sometimes we dont get along {its only cuz Im jealous of you} You are such a smart and creative person. You have a great sense of style and I love to shop with you cuz you can actually put up with me! you got some mad hopps and are an awesome softball and volleyball player. Church Ball was fun this summer with you. I wish we got to play together more! It is crazy to think that you are going to college and turning 19, I still feel like we should be in our backyard climbing trees and burying dead bugs in our dead bug graveyard. Or maybe rollerblading down the black road. Anyways I hope you have a great day shopping with mom and party it up! I love you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

{MICHELLE}

This is my friend/roommate Michelle. She is from Snohomish, Washington, an art major and tons of fun! We became friends right when I was about to come home from the summer. The reason we didn't become friends earlier because I am a total brat. She came for the spring semester so I was like oh she is one of those girls that just comes for a good time! But then one of Sulis friends liked her so Suli said I should get to know her better, so what did I do? I looked her up on facebook, haha wow I sound like a stalker. As I was reading her profile I noticed she liked the same music as me so I left her a message that went something like this: "I noticed we like the same music and since everyone here thinks our music sucks we should be friends." The rest is history, we hung out once and we couldn't stop talking, we have alot in common. So now we are roommates! We long board, make smores, draw tattoos, lay out, eat, and make fun of people,{see we are the same!} So I guess my lesson learned is not to be a brat to girls because I could be missing out on a great friend!
